Event overview
Red White & Ruck Nash is a charity ruck event on March 7, 2026, held at Castle Park, 2135 New Castle Road, Arrington, TN. The event is presented by FleetFeet Nashville and produced by the nonprofit Memories of Honor (501(c)(3) #47-5273214). Proceeds support the Enduring Heroes Program, which helps Gold Star family members attend an annual retreat and participate in longer memorial marches. The event honors fallen service members by assigning each participant a memorial bib with the name of a fallen service member.
Format and logistics
The event uses a time-trial format on an approximate 3/4-mile closed loop. Participants complete as many laps as they choose within the stated time limit. Entry divisions include Solo and relay teams (2-, 3- and 4-person teams) and an Honorary no-weight division. Weight divisions are listed as Light (20+ lbs) and Heavy (35+ lbs); all participants except the honorary member must carry a backpack or weighted vest. Teams receive punch cards to count laps, and there is a staging area for lap exchanges, food, and water. Spectators and participants may bring personal coolers, chairs, and weighted popups. Registered participants receive a commemorative bib, a commemorative patch, a fallen-hero memorial bib, and a downloadable participant certificate. Prizes and awards include over $2,500 in gift cards and a prize for the best Renaissance-dressed participant. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
