Event overview
The Reindeer Run takes place on Saturday, November 29, 2025 in Anamosa, Iowa. The race starts and finishes at the Lawrence Community Center, 600 E Main St. The event includes a chip-timed 5K and a youth mile for ages 5 to 13.

Logistics and awards
Chip timing for the 5K is provided by B&W Racing Services. Early packet pickup is available at the Anamosa Chamber of Commerce, 203 E Main St, on Thursday, November 27 from 6pm-8pm and Friday, November 28 from 8am-10am.
Awards include trophies for overall winners in each race, medals for the top two finishers in each age group, and an award for Best Holiday Spirit. Age groups for the 5K are: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50+. Course records listed include the Girls Mile 7:47 (2022) and 5K times of 17:13 (men, 2024) and 19:28 (women, 2024).
