Event overview
The Reindeer Run 5k takes place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Aberdeen Festival Park, 60 N. Parke St., Aberdeen, MD 21001. It is the fourth race in a local Holiday Running Series and includes presentation of Legacy and Legend medals for multi-year participants. The event offers a custom finisher's medal and a custom short-sleeve t-shirt for participants. The course is certified and is described as fast and flat. The race is professionally chip timed using the RaceResult Chip system by Blue Cheetah Sports Timing and Event Management, LLC.

A portion of race proceeds benefits the National PTSD Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity supporting first responders with post-traumatic stress disorder. Early packet pickup will be announced; day-of packet pickup begins at 6:30 am in Festival Park under the pavilion. Mailed packets are sent approximately seven days before race day. Registration pricing is shown on the event page and increases after December 19, 2025; virtual registration ends December 20, 2025. Age-group awards are offered for male and female top 3 overall and in standard age brackets from 9 & under through 70+. The race is owned, managed, and timed by Blue Cheetah Sports Timing, LLC.
