Reindeer Run and Grinch Sprint - event details
The Reindeer Run and Grinch Sprint takes place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Bakersfield Park, 1201 Duncan Lane, Flower Mound, TX 75028. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K - entry fee $35
- Fun Run - entry fee $20; open to ages 1 - 12
Shirts and medals are available on a first come, first serve basis. Day-of registration opens at 7:30 am.
Logistics, amenities and awards
Race week packet pickup is at Cross Timbers YMCA, 2021 Cross Timbers Rd, Flower Mound, TX 75028, on Thursday, Dec 4 (2:00 pm-9:00 pm) and Friday, Dec 5 (8:00 am-8:00 pm). The event is part of the Town Christmas program. Food and beverages for participants include coffee, hot chocolate, cookies and pancakes. Santa and the Grinch will pose for pictures after the runs, and the fun run route features a make-believe town with characters.
All income from the run supports local and international charity work. Awards are given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers, top Master male and female (age 40+), and top 3 male/female finishers in multiple age groups.
