Event details
The RESERVOIR RUSH is the 2nd Annual running event scheduled for May 16, 2026, in Moodus, CT 06469. The program includes the following distances and events:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Kids Fun Run
The 5K course runs on mostly level terrain along winding country roads and around the town reservoir, with water views. Participants are invited to wear red, white and blue.
Purpose and beneficiaries
The event is hosted by East Haddam/Moodus VFW Post 3336. All proceeds will benefit Post 3336 and will be distributed to veteran-focused nonprofit programs, including the House of Heroes of Connecticut and the Forever in My Heart Foundation program: VETS Valor, which provides psychiatric and mobility service dog training to assist disabled veterans.
