Resolution Run 5K : Orange Park, FL
The Florida Striders present the Resolution Run on January 17, 2026, at 455 Park Avenue, Orange Park, FL. The event includes a 5K and a 1 Mile Fun Run for children. The course starts on River Road behind bestbet on US-17 and runs along the St. Johns River, with a turnaround at Kingsley and Reed. Clay County Emergency Amateur Radio Teams will be on the course and will coordinate with sheriff department officers. Finisher medals are awarded to the first 600 finishers. Free hot chocolate is provided for every paying runner. A water station is located on the course near the turnaround, and additional refreshments are available beyond the finish area.
Registration, pickup, and awards
Online registration is available and also offered at 1st Place Sports store locations and on race day. Online registration closes on Thursday, January 15. Early packet pickup is available on Friday, January 16, at two 1st Place Sports stores: 3931 Baymeadows Rd, Jacksonville, and 2016 San Marco Blvd, Jacksonville; pickup at the race is also offered. Pre-race pickup is encouraged to increase the chance of receiving a shirt, but shirts are not guaranteed. Awards include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall, age-group awards, and Male and Female Master and Grand Master awards. The race is part of the 1st Place Sports Grand Prix Race Series.
