The Righteous Richland Sprint Triathlon, held in Richland, Washington at Howard Amon Park, is a challenging multisport event featuring a 1/2 mile swim in the Columbia River, a 12-mile mountain bike ride through roads, bike paths, and off-road single tracks at Chamna Nature Preserve, and a 3-mile run along scenic footpaths returning to the park. The race is open to individuals and three-person teams in open, coed, and women's categories. Mountain bikes with specific tire requirements are mandatory, with a separate gravel bike division offered.
