Rising Sun Run

The Rising Sun Run, held annually in Sierra Vista, Arizona, features a challenging half marathon and a 5K race, along with a 1-mile fun run/walk. Set on the high desert plain at 4,500 feet elevation, the half marathon course ascends to 5,500 feet near Ramsey Canyon Preserve, offering scenic views of the Huachuca Mountains and San Pedro River valley. Both courses are USA Track & Field certified.

The event supports local scholarships and Rotary service projects. Participants enjoy aid stations, post-race refreshments, and awards including medals and cash prizes for top finishers.
