About the race
The River City Half Marathon, held in Columbus, Georgia, is a scenic point-to-point race along the beautiful Columbus Riverwalk. Starting at Lake Oliver Marina and finishing at Oxbow Meadows near Fort Benning, the 13.1-mile course features approximately 350 feet of incline and over 500 feet of decline, making it a fast route ideal for personal records or first-time half marathoners. Runners enjoy views of the Chattahoochee River, pass over the North Highlands Dam, and run through historic downtown Columbus.
