River City Half Marathon
The River City Half Marathon, held in Columbus, Georgia, is a scenic point-to-point race along the Columbus Riverwalk. Starting at Lake Oliver Marina and finishing at Oxbow Meadows near Ft. Moore, the 13.1-mile course features approximately 350 feet of incline and over 500 feet of decline, making it a fast route ideal for personal records or first-time half marathoners.
Runners enjoy views of the Chattahoochee River, cross the North Highlands Dam, and pass through historic Downtown Columbus. Aid stations provide water, electrolytes, gels, and fruit. Participants receive a hoodie and finishers a medal, with post-race food and drinks available.
A virtual option is also offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
