River City Half Marathon
The River City Half Marathon, held in Columbus, Georgia, is a scenic point-to-point race starting at Lake Oliver Marina and finishing at Oxbow Meadows near Fort Benning. The course features approximately 350 feet of incline and over 500 feet of decline, making it a fast route alongside the picturesque Chattahoochee River. Runners pass landmarks such as the North Highlands Dam and historic Downtown Columbus.
The event offers aid stations with water, electrolytes, gels, and fruit, and all finishers receive a finisher's medal and a hoodie.
