River Roux Olympic Triathlon

The River Roux Olympic Triathlon 2025 takes place in New Roads, Louisiana, featuring an Olympic-distance course with a 1.5K swim, 40K bike ride, and 10K run. The swim is a double-loop clockwise course starting and ending at a floating dock on False River, with a self-seeded time trial start. The bike course is an out-and-back route around False River on open roads, supported by SAG vehicles and marked turns.

The run course includes 4-5 aid stations offering water, Powerade, and gels. The event offers individual triathlon, aquabike, duathlon, and relay divisions, concluding with awards and a finish festival in a nearby greenspace. Entries are limited to 300 participants.
