About the race
Riverfront East Hartford 5 Mile is a Thursday evening road race in East Hartford, Connecticut, hosted by the Hartford Marathon Foundation as part of the Riverfront Summer Series. The event features a single 5-mile distance along a riverfront course, described as an entirely different route to cap off the trio of Riverfront races. The atmosphere aims for a relaxed, summer vibe with a post-race craft beer from New England Brewing Company and a sunset finish.
Each participant receives a short-sleeve shirt, and series finishers earn a quarter-zip. The charity beneficiary supports the Susie Beris, MD Youth Running Program.
