River's Edge Endurance Challenge
River's Edge Endurance Challenge is a nonprofit running event held at Brunswick Middle School, Maryland. The lineup includes a 5K (3.1 miles), a 3-Hour Endurance Race, and a 6-Hour Endurance Challenge. The largely trail-based course runs on the River's Edge Trail System, with about a mile on school property; the 5K and 5-mile loops are well marked.
Participants can practice half the course on the River's Edge Trail System ahead of race day, aided by REEC signs guiding the route. Pre-registration includes a shirt and a unique finisher medal, while medals may be limited for late registrants. Proceeds support Brunswick High School Track and Field equipment, with two gift-card prizes awarded by random drawings. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
