River's Edge Trail Half Marathon

The River’s Edge Trail Half Marathon, held in Eldora, Iowa, is a scenic 13.1-mile paved loop race that follows the Iowa River Greenbelt. The course begins at the Eldora Welcome Center & Railroad Museum, travels along the River's Edge Trail to Steamboat Rock, and returns through Pine Lake State Park. This event offers both running and walking options, with walkers starting earlier.

Participants enjoy small-town charm, beautiful natural views, and multiple cheering spots along the route. Post-race, runners are treated to refreshments and a warm breakfast in Memorial Park. Proceeds support the ongoing development of the River’s Edge Trail.
