ROCC The Journey 5K
The ROCC The Journey 5K is an inaugural running event held in Joplin, Missouri, supporting sobriety and recovery. Scheduled for September 13, 2025, the race starts behind The Recovery Outreach Community Center (The ROCC) at 1402 S Main Street. This USATF-certified 5K course combines music, movement, and community spirit to celebrate strength and recovery.
All proceeds benefit The ROCC, a nonprofit focused on recovery support services. Participants receive finisher medals, with awards for top finishers in various age groups, best rock 'n' roll costume, and a special "Comeback Story" recognition honoring inspiring recovery journeys.
