Rock River Canyon 50k Trail Run

Rock River Canyon is a trail ultramarathon near Munising, Michigan, offering a 50K and a 27K option. The 50K covers roughly 26 miles on predominantly single-track through high-country and remote river valleys, with the remainder on dirt forest roads. The course starts at Valley Spur Lodge, follows a seldom-used stretch of the North Country Trail to AuTrain, then into the Rock River Canyon Wilderness before retracing back to the lodge.

Runners enjoy a wild, backcountry atmosphere with non-technical, highly runnable terrain that suits experienced ultrarunners and serves as a solid step up for marathoners venturing into ultrarunning.
