Rock the Block

Rock the Block 2025 is a community-focused 5K race held in Asheboro, North Carolina, hosted by the Shine Bright Foundation to support individuals with Down Syndrome and Autism. The event features early and regular registration options, with team registrations encouraged and special recognition for the largest team. Participants who register by July 31st receive an official race T-shirt.

Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as top finishers in multiple age groups. After the race, a family-friendly community event includes food trucks, vendors, a DJ, raffle prizes, and a bounce house. The race is professionally timed by Run The East, LLC.
