Event overview
The Rockaway Beach Triathlon/Duathlon takes place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at the Rockaway Beach Amphitheater (B95th Street, 1-12 Cross Bay Parkway, Queens, NY 11693). Course and distances
The swim is an open water start in the Atlantic Ocean; conditions can include big waves and strong currents. Wetsuits are optional. The bike segment is on the concrete boardwalk from B95th Street to B27th Street and back, ridden as two loops for a total of 12 miles; the boardwalk is described as flat and smooth but often windy on the return from B27th Street.
