Rockaway Beach Triathlon

The Rockaway Beach Triathlon/Duathlon is an annual event held at the Rockaway Beach Amphitheater in Queens, New York. The triathlon features a 400-meter open water swim in the Atlantic Ocean, a 12-mile bike ride along the smooth, flat concrete boardwalk from B95th to B27th Street (two loops), and a 3-mile run along the boardwalk. The duathlon consists of a 3-mile run, 12-mile bike, and another 3-mile run.

The race offers a scenic ocean view and challenging swim conditions with possible waves and currents. Participants receive a finisher medal and an exclusive NYTRI Boco Running Hat.
