Roopville Hornet 5K

The Roopville Hornet 5K is the 14th annual running event held at Roopville Elementary School in Roopville, Georgia. This USATF-certified, Peachtree Road Race–qualifying 5K winds through scenic rolling hills and pasture lands near downtown Roopville. Proceeds benefit the Roopville Elementary PTO.

Packet pickup is available Friday at the school and on race day. A Dash to the Finish kids’ event is also offered for ages 4–12. Awards cover multiple age groups and overall winners, with chip timing and post-race prize drawings.

Race shirts are guaranteed for pre-registered runners (register by Aug 23, 2025). Food trucks and Pelican’s Sno Balls add post-race hospitality. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
