Event overview
The Rosaryville Ramble takes place on February 22, 2026 at Rosaryville State Park in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. The event offers the following race distances:
- 5k
- 10k
- Half marathon
Points from the races count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, Endurance, and Back of the Pack Series, and also toward the Winter Series. A virtual race option is available. There is a daily park entry fee that participants are responsible for paying.
Course and logistics
The course starts on paved and gravel roads and continues on scenic single-track trail with rolling hills. The 10k is two laps of the 5k course. Water stations are planned at approximately miles 1, 3.1, and 4.1 on the 10k and at about mile 1 on the 5k; Gatorade will be available at some stations. Parking is available at Rosaryville State Park.
Packet pickup is available at the event. Race day registration is offered, and t-shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed for race-day registrants. T-shirts are guaranteed for those registered before February 11.
Timing, results, awards and charity
This is a chip-timed event. Live results will be posted online and a QR code will allow immediate result lookup on site; final results with series points are posted after the event. Registered participants receive a finisher’s medal and a technical (DriFit) event shirt.
Awards are given to the top three men and top three women overall, and 1st and 2nd place in age groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. The race benefits the Rosaryville Conservancy, a volunteer nonprofit incorporated in 1992 focused on preserving the park’s natural environment.
