The Rosenthal Haunted Wine Run 5k takes place on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Rosenthal - The Malibu Estate, Kanan Dume Rd & W Newton Canyon Rd, Malibu, CA 90265. The event is Halloween themed and offers these distance options:
- 5k
- 1.5 mile walk
The course is a two-lap route that includes stairs and sections through sand along the beach. Participants who stop after the first lap can be moved into the 1.5 mile walk division. Only service animals are allowed on site.
Registration and logistics
Registration includes a T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a wine glass shaped finisher medal, a chip-timed race bib, and a pour of wine. The event is timed and scored by J3 Timing and results are posted online. Age group awards are given to the top three finishers M/F in each 10-year category (21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+); awards are available for pickup the day of the event only.
Packet pickup is race day only and opens one hour before the event. Parking options include paid lots and limited free street parking; Rosenthal lot and nearby paid lots are identified on the event map. A virtual participation option is available; shipped packets incur a $10 shipping and handling charge. The local charity partner is The Autism Resource Project.
