About the race
The Round Rock Turkey Trot is an annual family-friendly running event held in Round Rock, Texas, at Old Settlers Park. The 2025 edition marks the ninth year of the race, organized with support from the City of Round Rock and its Parks and Recreation Department. Participants run a course between 3 to 5 miles, though the exact route is subject to change due to park construction.
Strollers and leashed pets are welcome, but bikes and scooters are not allowed. The event supports local charities, including The Round Rock Serving Center and Operation Blue Santa, encouraging food and toy donations. The race is capped at 2,500 runners, who receive a commemorative turkey medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
