Round The Bay Relay and Ultra

The Round The Bay Relay and Ultra is an annual 36.8-mile running event held around Choctawhatchee Bay in Northwest Florida, specifically in the Destin and Fort Walton Beach area. The race course passes through scenic towns including Destin, Niceville, Valparaiso, and Shalimar, starting and finishing at the Elks Lodge on Okaloosa Island. The event features a relay format with six legs and attracts around 40 teams and over 300 runners.

Runners benefit from three fully stocked aid stations, race swag, and a festive post-race buffet with live music. The Island Resort serves as the official host hotel, offering special rates and packet pickup. A 5K recovery run on the beach concludes the event weekend.
