Rumpshaker 5K : event overview
The Rumpshaker 5K takes place on March 28, 2026, at Regions Field in Birmingham, AL (1401 1st Ave S, 35233). The event benefits Colorectal Cancer Awareness and is organized by Rumpshaker, Inc. Funds support education, a traveling inflatable colon display, local hospital assistance, and the Lisa Martz Hope Fund.

Logistics, course and policies
Entry fees listed on the event page: in-person 5K $30, 1 Mile Fun Run $20, Virtual 5K $25. Prices increase after March 7, 2026. A $5 team discount applies to teams of five or more for in-person and virtual entries; the team discount ends March 21, 2026. Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled March 25-27, 2026, 11:00 am to 6:00 pm at Fleet Feet (3060 Healthy Way, Suite 100, Birmingham, AL 35243). Race day packet pickup is available at Regions Field.
The in-person 5K course is USATF certified (AL18022JE) and course maps are published online. Race timing uses bib-attached timing chips; in-person awards include top three overall male/female (gun time) and 5-year age-group awards by chip time. Team awards and fundraising incentives are listed. There are no refunds; bib transfers must be completed by March 21, 2026. RaceJoy is provided for live GPS tracking and progress alerts.
