Event overview
The Prevea Health Run Away to the Bay is a 55-mile team relay that starts at Menominee Park on the shores of Lake Winnebago in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and finishes at The City Deck in Downtown Green Bay. Teams may have between 2 and 8 participants. The route runs north along the lake through Neenah and Menasha, crosses Calumet County, enters the Fox River Trail just north of Forest Junction, and continues on the trail through DePere to the waterfront finish. The event is part of the 4imprint Race Series.
Logistics and rules
Registration uses tiered pricing and closes before the event; the driver-only package is offered separately. Participants receive a front bib with timing chip, a participant shirt, a finisher medal, a wristband for exchanges and chip timing. There are no formal exchange zones; teams provide their own support vehicle, supply hydration and may exchange the supplied slap band when handing off legs. The average team pace must not exceed 12:00 min/mile and minimum age is 16. Teams must carry a first aid kit in their vehicle. Traffic has the right of way and runners should use sidewalks when available. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each division at the finish line.
