Run Branch County 5k & Half Marathon - Event
The third annual Run Branch County 5k & Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, September 6, 2026 in Coldwater, Michigan. The event base is Dr. Robert W. Browne Recreation Center, 1776 Heritage Dr, Coldwater, MI 49036.

Logistics and amenities
Entry fees are tiered by registration date and increase closer to the event; a discount is offered for registering three or more people together. Packet pickup is available the Saturday before the event at the recreation center and on race morning. Participants who register by August 1 receive a dri-fit t-shirt in adult sizes XS to 2XL; shirts are not guaranteed after that date. All 5K and half marathon finishers receive a finisher medal. Awards are given to the top three males and top three females by age group (5K age groups: 11-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+; Half Marathon age groups: 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+). Aid stations and restrooms are listed along the courses; the 5K has a water and gatorade station at 1.5 miles, and the half marathon has multiple stations at specified mile markers. The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Proceeds will fund local athletic organizations to support youth participation. Food vendors will be on site and the start/finish area is at an outdoor recreational complex with courts, a disc golf course, and a playground.
