About the race
The Greenville Track Club Run Downtown 5K is a longstanding and popular annual race held in Greenville, South Carolina, with its 47th edition scheduled for January 17, 2026. Organized by the Greenville Track Club, this 5K event features a unique out-and-back course on North Main Street with only one turnaround point, making it one of the Upstate's races with the fewest turns. The race starts near Coffee Underground and the Mast General Store and is part of the GTC Running Series.
