Run for 2-1
The Run for 2-1 is an annual 5K running event held in Lewis, New York, organized by the Lewis Volunteer Fire Department (station 2-1). The race supports the fire department's mission to serve and protect the community. The course starts and finishes at the Lewis Fire House, following a scenic route through Fire House Lane, Route 9, Fox Run Road, Muzzy Road, and Wells Hill Road.
Participants receive a commemorative shirt, with additional shirts available for purchase. The event features a festive atmosphere with a fire truck horn start, refreshments, and awards in six age and gender categories. Walkers are also welcome to join this community-building event.
