Event
The Run for Agape 5K is a community run and walk held in Magnuson Park, Seattle, WA. The event offers multiple participation options:
- 5K Run/Walk

- Family friendly 2k
The course runs near Lake Washington and is described as fairly flat. The event is USATF sanctioned. Camp Agape Northwest benefits from the event; proceeds support a camp for children with cancer and their families.
Logistics and fundraising
Participants are asked to enter Magnuson Park at the southwest corner at Sand Point Way NE and NE 65th Street. The start area is reached by following the road past the boat launch parking lots to a dead end with parking spaces. Parking next to the start line is limited.
Camp Agape Northwest reports it has served more than 250 families over 25 years. The event has raised funds for the camp in past years, including over $46,000 reported in one year. Participants may create individual or team fundraisers, and funds raised through the event support Camp Agape Northwest programs offered at no charge to families receiving treatment in Washington State. Strollers are welcome and pets are requested to be left at home. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
