Run for Pie 5K : Newark, DE
The Run for Pie is a 5K road event on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Glasgow Park, 2275 Pulaski Hwy, Newark, DE 19702. Standard registration is shown as $35, youth pricing is $25 for ages 0-18, and a Fusion Running Club rate is listed at $25. Prices increase after November 26, 2025. Parking is directed to the lots closest to the playground and the basketball courts.
Race services, awards and community
Participants receive post-race pie and a branded campfire coffee mug. A custom bib with the participant name is available for entrants who register before October 25. Bib pickup is scheduled at Glasgow Park on race day. Awards include overall male/female and overall masters male/female gift cards to Delaware Running Company, plus top three in each age group. Age groups are 9 and under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
The event supports a Holiday Food Drive for the Newark Area Welfare Committee with a list of requested items such as cereal, pancake mix, canned soups and canned meats. The Friends of Fusion Foundation is named as the charity partner. A course map and additional race information are provided by the organizer.
