Run for the Bagel

Run for the Bagel is an annual running event held in Mattoon, Illinois, hosted by the Mattoon Area Family YMCA. The 38th edition will take place on July 19, 2025, featuring 5K and 10K race options, as well as a virtual participation category. The race supports the YMCA’s Membership for All scholarship fund, promoting community involvement and fitness.

Participants can pick up their race packets at the YMCA prior to race day or early on race morning.
