Run for the Corn

Run for the Corn is a running event held in Eden, New York, as part of the Eden Corn Festival. Scheduled for August 1, 2025, the event features two race distances: a 3.8-mile long course and a 2.2-mile short course. Both races start together and split after about three-quarters of a mile.

The course is mostly flat, fast, and non-technical, incorporating woods trails and much of the Eden High School cross country course, with some potentially wet trail sections. The event welcomes runners and walkers of all ages. Participants receive a corn-themed memento and a coupon for a hot, buttered ear of Eden’s sweet corn.
