5K RUN FOR THE DONUT : Fifth Anniversary
The event takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026 in Sarasota, FL at Lakeview Elementary School, 7299 Proctor Road. It is presented by Scuba Quest Dive Centers, is sanctioned by the Manasota Track Club, and is part of the 2026 Racing Series. The event includes the following distances:

Course and logistics
The 5K is professionally chip-timed on a flat out-and-back with a loop, and the route travels through a wooded neighborhood. Parking and indoor bathrooms are available at Sarasota Baptist Church across the street; port-a-potties are at Lakeview. There is one water stop about halfway through the course, and EMS will be on site. Strollers and dogs are allowed. The race is capped at 500 registrants and will proceed rain or shine, with a switch to a virtual format if conditions are unsafe.
Registration includes a lightweight 100% cotton race shirt (register by February 1 to guarantee a selected size), a special finisher medal, chip timing, awards (six deep in 17 age categories plus overall and age-group categories), childcare in a Kid Zone, and post-race coffee, donut and other snacks including a vegan option. The event is a fundraiser for Young Life Sarasota; registrations are donations and refunds are not offered.
