Run for the Ribbons 5K

Event details

The 15th Annual Run For The Ribbons takes place on Sunday, February 8, 2026, in Boca Raton, Florida, at the Lynn Cancer Institute (701 NW 13th Street, Boca Raton, FL 33486). The event includes multiple race categories for two distances:

• 5K
• 1 mile

There are separate entry categories for general participants, Baptist employees, and participants aged 17 and under. The 5K is held on a USATF-certified 5K course that starts and finishes at the Lynn Cancer Institute and runs through Old Floresta. The one-mile event also starts and finishes at the Lynn Cancer Institute. All finishers receive a finisher medal and Accuchip timing results.

Logistics and awards

Awards include top three overall finishers (male and female), top three Boca Regional physicians/employees (male and female), and top three in five-year age groups (including listed youth and senior brackets). Standard entry fees are shown at $35 for main events; discounted rates and specific pricing apply for certain employee and age categories. Boca Regional/Bethesda employees receive a $5 discount. Teams of five or more receive a $5 team discount and a coupon code is provided for team registration. T-shirts are guaranteed only to the first 750 registrants and exact sizes are not guaranteed. Packet pickup is scheduled at Runner's Edge (3195 N. Federal Hwy, Boca Raton) from January 25 through February 1. One hundred percent of proceeds benefit patients at the Lynn Cancer Institute.
