Run for the Scrubs 5K

Run for the Scrubs 5K: Backing Future Nurses is a timed 5K hosted at Victor Ashe Park in Knoxville, Tennessee. The in-person event offers a 5K Run/Walk and a Virtual 5K, welcoming walkers, joggers, and even strollers. Participants receive a race T-shirt if registered by Aug 31, and post-race snacks, water, and Gatorade.

The morning program includes a featured awards ceremony and free race photos, with instant results and finisher certificates. Proceeds support nursing scholarships for students at LMU, ETSU, Milligan, King, and Emory & Henry, complemented by sponsor community involvement. A course map is available for reference.
