Event overview
The Cross the Line Foundation hosts the annual Run for Veterans 5K in Fernandina Beach, FL on November 8, 2025. The out-and-back course begins and ends at Central Park at the Veterans' Memorial in Fernandina Beach. The event is organized as a 5K foot race and is presented by the Cross the Line Foundation.
Logistics and registration
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at Game Changers Running Company, 1881 S. 14th St., Suite 5, Fernandina Beach, and there is also packet pickup at the park on race day. Registrants receive a race t-shirt if they register by November 2, 2025. Online registration is listed at $35 and remains open through November 7, 2025. In-person registration is available during packet pickup for $45, cash only.
Awards will be presented to the top three men and top three women to cross the finish line. Age-group first-place awards are offered in ten-year spans, including a 9 and under category and an 80 and over category. Proceeds support Cross the Line Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that raises awareness of veteran-related issues and partners with other veteran organizations to assist with immediate veteran needs.
