Event overview
Run for Wellness 5K is the second annual 5K run/walk held in Orlando, FL on September 20, 2025. Proceeds benefit Florida Giving Gardens, a student-led community garden initiative focused on food equity and sustainability. The event also includes a Kids Fun Run for children aged 7 and under.
Course, distances and logistics
The course is a flat 3.1-mile route around Blue Jacket Park consisting of two loops - a larger loop with a smaller loop inside it - with up to two water stops. Distances offered:
- 5K
- Kids Fun Run
Pre-race packet pick-up is scheduled at Blue Jacket Park near the statues of Sailors and the restrooms the day before the race; race day packet pick-up is available on race morning. There is free parking in the Blue Jacket Park lot along General Reese Rd, including EV parking. Entry fees are $25 during the early-bird period through July 1 and $35 thereafter. The Kids Run (ages 7 and under) has free entry; shirts are not included for the kids run but are available for purchase for $10. Awards are given to the top finisher in each advertised age group.
