Run for Your Lungs

Run for Your Lungs is an annual event held in Cordele, Georgia, at Lake Blackshear Resort. The 14th edition features a 5K run, a 1-mile walk, and a virtual run option for remote participants. This event raises awareness and funds for lung cancer, the deadliest form of cancer, supporting local individuals affected by the disease.

Participants receive a long-sleeve T-shirt, a goody bag, lunch, and beverages, including beer for those 21 and older. The event fosters a supportive and festive atmosphere with pre-race activities, live acoustic music, and community engagement, making it a meaningful weekend for a great cause.
