Event overview
The Run Like The Dickens 5K Run/Walk takes place on December 6, 2025, in Chestertown, Maryland. The event is held rain or shine and includes a free children's dash for ages 10 and under. Event options include:

Location, awards, and amenities
The event location is The Kitchen at the Imperial, 208 High Street, Chestertown, MD 21620. Registered participants receive event premiums. Medals are awarded to overall male and female and master winners, the top three male and female runners in 10-year age groups from 10 and under through 70 and over, and the top five male and female walk finishers. Ribbons are given to all Kiddie K finishers.
Volunteers and police assist with traffic, directions, and a water stop. After the race, the Victorian Dickens Holiday Extravaganza takes place with carriage rides, live entertainment, home tours, food trucks, kids activities, and a petting zoo.
