Run Muskegon's Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Muskegon, Michigan at Pigeon Hill Brewers Lounge, 895 4th Street. The event includes:
- 5K fun run and walk
- Free kids fun run (open to ages 1 - 12)
Registration for the 5K requests a $10 donation plus a food item for Kid's Food Basket. The kids fun run is free. The 5K is not chip-timed; a clock will be at the finish. Strollers are allowed without a donation. Dogs are not permitted. The event is held regardless of weather.
Course and logistics
The start and finish are at Pigeon Hill Brewers Lounge. The route follows the Lakeshore Bike Trail west toward Adelaide Pointe, returns at the halfway point, and follows the same route in reverse. There is an optional "Turkey Leg" that adds 0.4 miles by taking participants up and down the Coles Bakery hill; this leg is located just after the turnaround and will be marked by volunteers. A water station is located at the 1.5 mile turnaround. Bathrooms are available inside and outside the Brewers Lounge; there are no bathrooms on the 5K course. Parking is available at The Mart Dock, downtown Muskegon, and the City of Muskegon parking lot east/across the street from Pigeon Hill; Pigeon Hill's lot will be closed for the event.
