Run Oak Island
Run Oak Island is an annual two-day running event held on Oak Island, North Carolina, featuring a variety of race distances including a 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, two Half Marathons (East and West courses), a Full Marathon, and the world's shortest Ultra Marathon at 26.25 miles. The event takes place over Presidents Day weekend and offers flat, scenic courses with ocean views, marshlands, and historic landmarks like a lighthouse and live oak trees. The East Half Marathon is competitive and flat, while the West Half is walker-friendly with a longer time limit.
