Run Rabbit Run is a challenging ultramarathon event held in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, featuring 50-mile and 100-mile races through the scenic Routt National Forest. The 50-mile course starts at the Steamboat Springs ski area (6,900 ft elevation), ascending to Mount Werner (10,568 ft), crossing the Continental Divide at Rabbit Ears Mountain (10,500 ft), and returning to the ski area, with nearly 9,000 feet of climbing. The 100-mile race includes additional terrain such as Buffalo Pass (10,300 ft) and Emerald Mountain, totaling about 22,000 feet of elevation gain.
