Run Rabbit Run is a challenging ultramarathon event held in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, featuring 50-mile and 100-mile races through the scenic Routt National Forest. The 50-mile course starts at the Steamboat Springs ski area (6,900 ft elevation) and climbs nearly 9,000 feet, including ascents to Mount Werner (10,568 ft) and Rabbit Ears Mountain (10,500 ft), crossing the Continental Divide. The 100-mile race, with about 22,000 feet of elevation gain, also includes Buffalo Pass and Emerald Mountain, offering a tough and varied terrain.
