Event overview

Run the Line Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, February 15, 2026, in Texarkana, on a USATF certified single-loop course (AR19015WJT). The course crosses the Texas/Arkansas border and uses city streets and paved trails. The event includes a 13.1 miles half marathon, 2-person relay teams, and 4-person relay teams. Chip timing is used and the race is open to runners and walkers. Participants must be at least 13 years old; ages 13-17 and 65+ receive an automatic $5 registration discount.

Course and logistics

The race starts at the intersection of W. Broad Street and Texas Blvd and finishes near 3rd and Wood Streets in front of the Hopkins Ice House. About four miles of the course are on 10-foot wide asphalt trails in two city parks; the remainder is on coned-off city streets. The course has several long inclines. Water stops and restrooms are located near miles 2.3, 3.5, 5, 6.5, 8, 9.8, and 11. Multiple police officers, more than 100 volunteers, and musical entertainers are stationed along the route. Two gear drop-off locations are provided and gear will be returned to the finish area inside Hopkins Ice House.
