Event details
Run the Pier Running Festival is a multi-distance running event held in downtown Manistee, Michigan. It is scheduled for July 2026 and takes place at 250 Duffy Park, Manistee, MI 49660. The event includes routes that go out onto Manistee’s north pier and around the lighthouse for the shorter races. The Full Marathon follows a winding course along lakeshore drive. The Half Marathon route is currently undergoing changes and will be posted once finalized.

Registration for these events opened on January 19, 2026. The festival provides an official running festival T-shirt to each participant and additional swag items are listed as TBD. There will be 500 total finisher awards. Post-race adult beverages will be available, with proceeds from sales going to Stomp out Cancer of Manistee. Run the Pier began in 2018 to raise funds for local non-profits. In 2021 operational responsibility moved to NOMI, which continues the race mission and works with original organizers on the annual beneficiary.
