Run the Res 5k & Fun Run : Lexington, MA
The Run the Res 5k & Fun Run takes place on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Bridge School, 55 Middleby St, Lexington, MA 02421. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K Run
- 5K Walk
- Kids Fun Run
Registration fees listed are $30 for the 5K Run and 5K Walk and $5 for the Kids Fun Run. The registration fee increases to $40 after October 15, 2025. Bibs can be mailed to registrants who sign up before Wednesday, October 3, 2025; there is also bib pick up on race day. The event is scheduled to run rain or shine.
Course and logistics
The 5K starts and finishes at Bridge School. The course begins near the playground side of the bridge, makes a lap around the reservoir, then follows a route that goes along Bridge, turns onto Middleby, then Lincoln Street, then Worthen Road to Baskin Road where runners turn around and return to a bike path that leads back to Bridge. Volunteers will be stationed along the route to assist with course navigation and road crossings. The Kids Fun Run is one lap around the softball fields behind the school. Children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult if they plan to run the 5K course. A post-race gathering will provide light refreshments and food.
