Run the Vineyards - Jonathan Edwards 5K takes place on May 31, 2026 at Jonathan Edwards Winery in North Stonington, CT. The event is the third annual edition and features a chip-timed 5K with instant results. The course is mostly paved and includes about one mile through the vineyard, with the finish running through the vineyard. The listed entry fee is $49.76, which includes a $3.76 fee; the price increases after January 1, 2026. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers and to male and female winners in age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, and then every 10 years.
On-site services and extras
All participants receive a complimentary glass of wine. The event includes post-race live music until noon, beer available for purchase, and a food truck on site. Finishers receive a "Run the Vineyards" wine glass and a custom tech shirt is included, with an optional upgrade to a different tank style for an additional $5; registering by May 17 guarantees first shirt choice. A souvenir finisher medal is optional for $8 online or $10 on race day. Free downloadable race photos are provided. There is a water station on course and water and bananas at the finish. The event is held rain or shine with no refunds or deferrals. Walkers are welcome with registration required and they start behind runners. Packet pick-up is available on race day at the winery.
