Run the Vineyards - Memorial Day at Pindar 5K
The event takes place on Sun May 24, 2026 at Pindar Vineyards, 37645 Main Street, Peconic, NY 11958. It includes the following distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Walk
This is the 7th annual Memorial Day weekend 5K and the charity partner is The NY Cancer Foundation.
Race details and amenities
The 5K follows a relatively flat course through Pindar Vineyards and is chip-timed with instant results. Aid is provided by a water station and finish-line water and bananas. Awards are given to the top 3 overall and to male and female age-group winners (14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, then every 10 years). After the event there will be live music, food trucks, a full wine bar and tasting options, and a complimentary glass of Pindar wine for participants. Pawsitive Possibilities will be on-site with puppy adoptions. Registered participants receive a custom race tee (youth, women’s and adult/men’s options) with an option to upgrade to a women’s racerback for an additional $5; finishers receive a stemless wine glass. Free downloadable race photos are provided and souvenir finisher medals are available for purchase. The race is held rain or shine; there are no refunds or deferrals.
