Run the Vineyards - Pindar Vineyards 5K is scheduled for Sunday, July 26, 2026, in Peconic, NY at Pindar Vineyards (37645 NY-25). The event is the 7th annual summer 5K and features a 5K chip-timed run/walk that routes through vineyard property covering about 500 acres. The race supports the NY Cancer Foundation. On-course and post-race amenities
Course support includes a water station and course volunteers. Results are available instantly at the finish and online. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers and the top three in each age group, male and female (14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, etc.). Post-race amenities at the pavilion and picnic areas include a live musician performing until noon, a food truck, and a complimentary glass of wine for participants aged 21 and over with ID. Dilly Dilly Donuts will be on site before and after the race. Registered participants receive a custom tech tee or may upgrade to a women's racerback tank for an extra fee; a stemless "Run the Vineyards" wine glass is included. Additional details list free parking, free downloadable photos, finish-line water and banana, packet pick-up at the "Good Day for a Run" tent, and a rain-or-shine policy with no refunds or deferrals.
