Run the Vineyards - "The 5K Waltz" is scheduled for May 9, 2026 in Manheim, PA at Waltz Vineyards Estate Winery, 1599 Old Line Road. The event is the 5th annual 5K run/walk on a scenic course through the vineyard with mountain and valley views. The race is chip-timed with instant results. The event lists a registration fee of $44, with the price noted to increase after October 31, 2025. The charity partner is HEADstrong Foundation.
On-site features and logistics
Awards are given to the top three overall and to age group male and female winners (14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, and every 10 years thereafter). The after-race area includes live music, a food truck, a complimentary glass of wine, and a Run the Vineyards stemless wine glass. Custom race tees are included with options for adult, men’s, women’s, and youth sizes; a women’s racerback tank top is available for a $5 upgrade. Souvenir finisher medals are optional for $8 during registration or $10 on race day. Walkers and all ages are welcome; registration is required. Free downloadable race and after-party photos will be provided. The event is held rain or shine and the policy notes no refunds or deferrals. Packet pick-up is available at the winery on race day.
