The Run Through The Decades 6K/7K/8K/Half takes place on April 18, 2026 in Sugar Hill, Georgia. The event base is Sugar Hill Distillery at 1166 Church St, Sugar Hill, GA 30518. It offers in-person and virtual options and includes courses that represent different decades: a 6K, 7K, 8K, and a Half Marathon that combines the courses. Format, awards and policies
Race gear and finisher awards are provided; finisher medals are given to each athlete. Awards are presented for Top 3 Overall Male and Female, Top 3 Overall Masters (40+), Grand Master (50+), Senior Master (60+), and Top 3 in age groups from 10 & under through 75+. Water stations are provided approximately every 1.5 miles. Packet pickup is held on race morning starting one hour before the start; early pickup may be added.
Registration follows tiered pricing with preview, early bird, regular, late and race-day rates. Registrations are final: there are no refunds, deferments or transfers. In case of extreme weather the event may be canceled for safety with no refunds. Virtual participants submit results by the end of race day; virtual packages are shipped the Monday after the event. All participants qualify for one free entry into a 2026 Five Star Thanksgiving Turkey Trot and top finishers may earn spots in 2027 championships.
