Run to the Moon 10k

The Run to the Moon 10K is part of an annual event held in Wapakoneta, Ohio, the boyhood home of astronaut Neil Armstrong. Celebrating the 56th anniversary of the Apollo Moon Landing, the race starts and finishes at the Armstrong Air and Space Museum. The event offers a unique space-themed experience, including NASA astronaut participation, space facts along the course, and themed race medals and shirts.

Participants can choose from a 10K, 5K, or 1-mile run, with flexible race distance changes allowed. A virtual run option is also available. Proceeds benefit the United Way of Auglaize County, supporting local community programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
